Moor is the film written & directed by Jami based on decline of the railways system in Pakistan. Moor is Pushto word which means mother in Pashto Language.
"MOOR" (Mother), follows the tragic story a family pulled apart through corruption and circumstances out of their control.
MOOR has shoot in remote locations of Balochistan and Urban cities of Sindh province. Few locations include, Mustalim Bagh, Sheila Bagh, Bostan, Qila Saifullah, Pashin, Khost Border, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Karachi.
Moor The Story
A village station master stuck in time - rediscovers his love for his wife through a journey of self awareness, propelled by her death- beyond his village and into the real world for the first time. The experience empowers him to rise beyond deep childhood insecurities and complexes triggered by his mothers suicide on his beloved train tracks. The awakening ultimately helps him fight all-enveloping corruption in the railways… and reunite his family – his wife’s last wish!
